I create unique finishes, using modern materials and techniques that evoke many eras. Your home, its furnishings, colors, tones, form the basis for many different types of finishes. Recreations of old frescoed and plastered walls, marble and stone, rare and exotic woods complement many home designs. My faux finishes are superior because I can simply glaze your walls, or I can add textural elements for dimension.

A mural is one of the most striking forms of decoration in a home or business. Working with the client, I create original images that fit the particular room, the personality of the client, and the style of home decor. A european landscape, a dramatic sky or an idyllic beach, painted on your walls, weaves an original work of art into your home. Skillfully crafted illusions (trompe l'oiel) are even more satisfying to artist and viewer, unique beyond description.

A hand finished wall will look and feel very expensive, yet many of my designs are comparable to quality wallpaper. If you have ever removed wall paper during a remodel, you will be relieved to know that most faux finishes can be modified or simply painted over.

I have been painting professionally for almost 25 years, beginning my career with commercial illustrations and painted signage. As an artist, training in these crafts, I learned the myriad possibilities of color and design.
